A noted dumpling house since they first opened, their Xiao Long Baos are very flavorful – firmly wrapped and wonderfully cooked with the broth inside. In addition to their amazing XLBs, they also serve some terrific noodle dishes that are definitely worth a try.
2. Jeng Chi Restaurant

While in Dallas, the Xiao Long Baos at Jeng Chi are definitely not to be missed! Incredibly flavorful and soupy, giving you a mouthful of juice that would impress the pickiest of eaters. Their menu is also large and extensive, so we would recommend trying as much as you can and then come back for more!
3. Fortune House Chinese Cuisine

If you happen to be in Irving and are looking for some great XLBs, then you should definitely pay a visit to Fortune House. With the pork inside so tender and the broth just perfect, it is no wonder that Fortune House is no stranger to the folks of Irving, garnering the love of many, even the younger crowd. Savor every burst of delight in the terrific dipping sauce of shredded ginger and vinegar.
Another awesome dish to try out at this restaurant is their pan fried dumplings. The pork inside is similar to soup dumplings but the outside has a thicker wrapper with a crispy fried bottom. Their basil chicken, fried pork buns, and steamed crab buns are also top notch.
4. Mah-Jong Kitchen

This upscale restaurant inside Plano’s Lakeside Market offers a wide and authentic menu of wonderful Chinese dishes, most worthy of note of, course are is their Shang Hai Xiao Long Bao. Mah-Jong also serves a great deal of specials, ranging from their small-eat meals, soups, salads and their chef’s specials – of which, their Merlot stir-fried Beef Tenderloin is an absolute must try! 5. Yao Fuzi Cuisine
Address: Berkeley Square, 4757 W Park Blvd #108, Plano
This Dallas-Best list wouldn’t definitely be complete without mentioning Plano’s Yao Fuzi Restaurant. Although this restaurant’s a bit on the hig- end side, they sure do serve some of the best Xiao Long Baos in town. Small, with a terrific pork and shrimp filling and reasonably rich broth, you’ll have all your cravings satisfied with just one big gulp! This restaurant also flings out some great platters of Crab and Cheese Wontons and their Crispy Beef Specials that one shouldn’t definitely miss!
